An Introduction
Hello, My name is Iain,

I live in the Midlands of the UK, I am 42 years old, married, 2 kids, dog, house, car etc. Indeed so far a fairly unremarkable story, I don’t have many dark secrets in fact I am probably a lot like you. I work a daily job in a school which neither excites me or fulfils me, its a decent job with decent wages and its not too demanding. I like a drink occasionally, I like to socialise and that’s about it really I work, eat sleep and trundle along like millions of others so you see there really is nothing remarkable about me. I don’t really have many hobbies, I like to buy and sell on eBay and I enjoy trying to make a few quid on the Internet with a marketing business. I am sure I will get round to putting some of my products on the blog as time goes by, so far, making money on the Internet has eluded me a tad. In fact I would starve if I relied solely on that so you see I am always looking out for a good idea which I guess is partly how I got to be here and starting this journey.

I am NOT a horse racing fan or gambling man. I know nothing of the ins and outs of horse racing and other than the annual flutter on the Grand national I would never have bet on them, so how come I have a blog about gambling and in particular a horse racing system?

Well partly its the Grand National that set me on this path, my wife and daughters as usual asked me to go to the betting shop and place their bets for the big race in 2006. As I was sat at my computer I thought, what the hell lets do it online as our local betting shop was one of the older style ones and I never felt comfortable there. Anyway we had some winnings, - I think if my memory serves me well about £20 ($40 US for US Readers). Now I paid out to the family winners and promptly forgot about my online gambling account until the National 2007, unfortunately life conspired that we didn’t place our bets on the race that day but it had jogged my memory, so when about 2 weeks later there was a boxing match I knew one of the fighters in I thought I will bet on him, it was a British title fight and so I put £10 on a win for my man and £10 to win by KO in the 4th. I heard the result on the radio next day and thought great - a win. anyway it took my online gambling capital to about £60. I was going to withdraw it but I literally just forgot about it for a while until a conversation with the wife reminded me that when we were much younger we used to pick a horse in every race in the paper in the morning and whoever had the most winners could choose a forfeit for the other, it was entirely for fun but she reminded me how many times we seemed to pick winners, especially as neither of us had any idea about racing or gambling in general.

It really bugged me that conversation and wouldn’t let me go so from sometime around April 2007 I was thinking, thinking, thinking about horse racing and I started keeping an eye on results and then around June of 2007 I figured I had stumbled on a system that would provide an income from gambling on horse racing without knowing a thing about form, jockeys and horses. I tracked the potential system for around 4 months and it seemed foolproof to me, so I decided to try it out with the money in my online account so I invested the princely sum of £20 and set off. After starting on a Thursday with £20 I finished on Friday with £74 and climbed steadily the next week making various sums every day until I was at £316 on the second Friday, 7 days gambling with my system from a £20 start had made me £296 - I was very impressed.

Anyway then I got clever you see, I got lucky on a couple of long odds horses and thought I knew better, I started to adjust my system to take into account my new found cleverness and started having the odd bad day, still despite knowing that had I stuck to the system those days I would have been in profit I was having fun, I still knew nothing about the sport but thought I did and my earnings steadily increased and every week I was earning £200 - £300. After 6 weeks I paid for a holiday for us and left
£300 to start my system again, I thought that I was on the way. I started off again and was at £400 within 2 days but then my messing with the system went wrong and in the space of 2days I lost the lot!!!?

Was I angry? Yes only with myself because had I followed the system, the system I came up with MY System, had I just followed it I would have been in profit as opposed to losing it all.

What from there, I just decided to watch again, use my system in my diary and that’s what I did, I watched, observed and realised that the system was sound, it was me that wasn’t sound, in fact I was a liability, I have learned that if I FOLLOW THE SYSTEM it will work. so here I am, I actually started again on 3rd January 2008 and did real well getting up to £475 before the
weekend, unfortunately an urgent need required that I withdraw the money and give it to my wife which I did.

So here I am, I will restart with my system on Monday 21st January 2008, I will deposit £50 to my online account and I will then start with the system. It takes anywhere from 20 - 90 minutes per day to hit my target and ideally I would start with a great big betting bank, the ideal would be £2000 that would be great, £500 would be a decent bank too but unfortunately I am just a normal family man and can only start with ‘Pocket Money’ so I will be starting very slow and hopefully will build up over the coming days and weeks into a stronger position to make big money. I will be delighted to have you along for the ride and would be great to hear your thoughts and musings as we go along.

I won’t reveal my system to you yet, I will share it with registered blog members as we go along but I have an idea that if this works out I could package this system to sell, so for that reason I won’t give my secret away yet but I will share it with my readers as we go.

Please take a look at the introduction page to read bout the system and check in daily to see how I am getting on! I would love to hear your comments on what I am doing, how I am doing and whether you have experience of horse racing, or other gambling systems. Funnily enough my own view would be that they are all a bunch of crap and I wouldn’t think they would work. That’s part of the reason for keeping a public record, I won’t be able to kid myself I will be forced to face the truth of the system whether its a winner or loser.

Until my next post…..

Iain
